Q. What are The Crestwood School's hours?

A. Students should arrive in the morning between 8:00 and 8:30am . Dismissal from half-day programs is between 11:45am and 12:00pm . Dismissal from full day programs is between 2:45 and 3:00pm . Before-care is available from 7:15 to 8:00am and after-care is available from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. School closes promptly at 6:00 pm; there is a $10 charge per 15 minutes for students not picked up by closing.

Q. What different programs does The Crestwood School offer?

A. For preschoolers aged 3 and 4, we offer a morning half-day program, 3 or 5 days a week, as well as a full-day program 3 or 5 days a week. Our kindergarten program is full-day.

Q. How can I receive more information or arrange to visit The Crestwood School?

A. You can call Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm with any questions you may have and to schedule a tour of our newly renovated facility.

Q. Is The Crestwood School an approved private school?

A. NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) requires that a school be in operation for on year. We are currently filing paperwork to enter the first phase of accreditation.

Q. Does The Crestwood School offer transportation?

A. A . Yes, we offer transportation for the regular school day for both full- and half-day students. The monthly charges are: $225 for 2-way transportation 5 days of the week; $175 for 1-way transportation 5 days of the week; $200 for 2-way transportation 3 days of the week; and $150 for 1-way transportation 3 days of the week. We do not provide transportation for children in before- or after-care.

Q. What do you serve for lunch?

A. For our full-day students, we offer a nutritious hot lunch program, with daily vegetarian options. Lunch includes an entrée, one side dish, a piece of fruit, and the choice of juice or milk. The price for lunch per day is $2.50; $35 per month for 3-day students; and $55 per month for 5-day students.
